If we're looking at the options for QB, I think Jay coming back is the only logical choice. There do not appear to be any viable free agent QBs out there. The only QB I would feel comfortable drafting and putting in the lineup right away is Bridgewater, who will go to Houston unless they fall in love with Clowney. I haven't seen Bortles play, so I honestly don't know about him. I'm not too interested in Manziel as a pro. Hundley and Carr don't excite me. Boyd, McCarron, Murray, etc. seem like good college QBs who can be either above average backups, Kyle Orton (as a Bear) type starters, or complete busts. I don't see how you can get rid of the most talented QB the Bears have ever had just to make a change and save money. With even a slightly below average defense instead of a terrible one and a healthy Jay, the Bears are an easy playoff team.
