  1. thought he knocked knees with his left... no contact to the right, which was the one they were checking out
  2. Polanco? Then maybe some lower level pitching (no idea who they might have though)
  3. Broussard reporting it like it's the first thing anyone has heard about it
  4. I know it's been a while since they made the pick, but I just feel like there were better options than Snell. He doesn't excite me as a player, but I guess we'll see what happens.
  5. not sure how I feel about Battier as the interview guy. He's really stiff
  6. Zeller to the Bobcats...
  7. My first thought was trade, but apparently they are going to keep him. Strange pick
  8. I know that Jordan and Winn were pretty solid pros who had good careers, but I personally see the best-case scenario for Soler and Almora to be better than that... Not sure who I would compare them to, but I just think that is a pessimistic best-case
  9. figure it's a back thing with Bergeron? That's all that I could imagine with the replays NBC is showing
  10. Kane is playing great with Toews out. Good to see
  11. was that one a fluke too? Kaner!
  12. That's ridiculous. Sharp gets crushed after the whistle and pushes back and gets a penalty
  13. Kaner! eta: that was some really great stick work by Kane to put it in.
  14. Vogelbach makes sense at 7 since there is a clear top 4 and then Pierce and Alcantara have had such good years they seem to be an easy step above Vogelbach
  15. looked out in the stadium, but what were Rizzo and Valbuena ? Thinking?
  16. Still raining here in St Louis, hope they get the game in.
  17. listening on the radio is the worst
  18. He's at least 22 and in A-ball... not sure how excited to be about that... Because that kind of K% and K/BB are always exciting? The stuff matches those peripherals. He's what we hope Paniagua will become if he is ever allowed to enter the US. Badler has raved about De Paula on twitter all year. took another look at some low A rosters and realized 22 wasn't so old for the level and wasn't considering the time off as well... my post was clearly wrong.
  19. He's at least 22 and in A-ball... not sure how excited to be about that...
