  1. here's the game... and of course, they have to use a timeout.
  2. I like that Trestman hasn't panicked and isn't afraid to run the ball. Just hope we can punch it in this drive and the D can get another couple of stops
  3. Forte looking a little lively
  4. love Alshon going up and making plays
  5. here comes another 3rd down conversion...
  6. Briggs continues to make plays that remind you how good he is, yet you can still tell he's lost quite a bit over the years
  7. Marshall also played 2 seasons in Miami with Matt Moore and Chad Henne being the two primary QBs and he averaged 83.5 catches, 1,114 yards and 4.5 TDs. That is a feat of epic proportions
  8. and then that happens
  9. didn't see a penalty on Long there... that happens every play
  10. Suh is off the ball so quick...
  11. ask and you shall receive
  12. shoulda been 6... Bennett needed to catch that. But at least we got 3
  13. multiple guys wide open... make the throw
  14. There has been lots of speculation...but it's not gonna happen while Selig is still in charge. You would think that with the constant interleague now, they'll eventually get to the point where they realize it's ridiculous for one league to have such a large advantage. And they're definitely not taking it away from the AL. How is the DH an advantage for one league over the other? Assuming an equal payroll for two teams, one in the AL and one in the NL, it just means that the teams will appropriate their funds differently. While the AL may have a slight advantage in an AL ballpark, they would probably argue that they are at a slight disadvantage in an NL ballpark since they lose one of their high-priced hitters. If nothing else, it gives AL teams the out of playing an aging hitter at DH who can't play the field that an NL team can't roster.
  15. Did that not happen to a Cleveland Browns offensive lineman about 10 years ago and the player went after the ref? IIRC, the guy went blind in that eye and that pretty much ended his career. Orlando Brown. He played a few more seasons after that.
  16. I'll play, shoot me a pm with the details when you have them
  17. Man, if Torrez is "more a thrower than a pitcher" will he ever walk someone unintentionally if he "learns to be a pitcher"?
  18. at least Peppers looks alive
  19. I thought they did 2 years or so ago played Tampa Bay and Forte had that one crazy TD where a couple Bucs ran into each other IIRC
  20. :beg: you mean like this one? viewtopic.php?f=4&t=41070
  21. You want it kicked to Patterson?? absolutely... if he takes it back 105 again it happens... don't give them a chance to get it at the 40, complete a pass for another 15 yards or so, take a timeout and have a 45 yard shot at the end zone edit: then again what do I know?!?!?!?!?!
