  3. Seriously, could that be a more egregious missed traveling call? I mean, yeah they played like crap down the stretch, but if the ref who is standing 3 feet away gets that call right they probably win the game if they make a free throw or 2
  4. Even if they trade Deng (which I don't think is a given what with Thibs' enormous man crush on Luol and everything) I don't see them finishing worse than 7th or 8th in the terrible Eastern Conference. (Also, interesting how in both the NHL and NBA the Western Conference is so much better than the Eastern Conference) They would be worse than 5 of: Toronto, Charlotte, Philly, Detroit, Washington, Boston, Orlando, NYK, Brooklyn, and Milwaukee. I can see New York and Brooklyn rebounding to be better than they've started. Washington has a chance to be decent. Then there are a bunch of garbage teams that probably aren't much better than Noah/Gibson/Boozer/Butler/etc. + Thibs' defense
  5. I didn't realize Hyde was going to end up in coaching, but I guess that should have made sense because his role was Player Development...
  6. Not that OSU isn't a very good team, but I'd be hesitant to say they would spank Baylor. if Illinois can put up 35 points on you (granted, OSU may have let off the gas - I don't know because I was unable to watch the game) Baylor can probably score pretty darn well against you also, and Baylor has a defense that is quite a bit better than Illinois' simply based on the fact that almost every team in the country has a defense that is quite a bit better than the one at Illinois
  7. I'm in 5th place in my league, having lost matchups by 1.9 and 3.9 points at different times, as well as losing matchups when things like AJ Green and Reggie Bush combine for 6 points (this week) or Jimmy Graham gets a 0 and I lose by like 7 points. I still have a shot at the playoffs, but it will basically take me beating the teams in first, second, and 4th these next 3 weeks. Oh, and the team in 3rd I'm outscoring by over 19 points a week and the team in 4th by over 11 points/week. I hate how frustrating fantasy football is, but I love playing with all my college buddies. Glad there's no money involved.
  8. They aren't defending the bunch well at all
  9. who was that detroit coach that actually did this Marty Morninwhieg
  10. Why take a knee with one second left? Give it to hester and see what happens
  11. I didn't see a horse collar there
  12. 30 yards. How many plays until they gain it back?
  13. Who cares, it's about time we get one of those
  14. can't believe the end around continues to work
  15. cheap call on Pep... but you can't get that close
  16. Since 2010, in games in which Cutler plays the whole game (takes out losses to NYG in '10, HOU in '12, WAS and DET in '13) the Bears are 31-15. so, even including those games - other than DET he missed half or more of the game, his record in his last 50 Bears starts is 31-19, good for a winning percentage of .620, which means that with Cutler playing, the Bears have played at a 10-win pace for the last 3+ seasons eta: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CutlJa00/gamelog/ Also, yes of course I realize that the D has played a huge role in past years, and citing wins by a QB is only marginally better than citing wins for a SP, but still: Forget you Jaws.
  17. And every single one would laugh in their faces because who would want to coach this dumpster fire of a team?
  18. I think that coupled with the fact that Alcantara, who played in the Futures game and had an awesome year, is 7th really shows the strength of the system. We've come a long LONG way from Jackson-Vitters at 1 and 2
