  1. Surely this speeds up Melo's decision and the action in free agency in general...Bosh probably ends up in Houston now, right? Miami is screwed
  2. The way I look at it, they both have basically the same ceiling offensively which is pretty much HOF-caliber if sustained over a good period of time with solid to better defense, only Javy plays a more premium defensive position. While Bryant is killing it in the minors this year, he does have a fair amount of swing and miss to his game, though certainly not to the level that Javy does.
  3. If you lean towards upside how do you have Javy 3rd? His upside is a solid or better SS who hits 40 dongs a year... Which is better than Bryant (solid or better 3B who hits 40 dongs a year) and Russell (a good SS who hits 20-25 dongs a year) Edit: I know Bryant has outproduced Javy during his time in AAA, but it's still a SSS and Javy is what, 2 years younger? And still playing pretty darn well...
  4. I know I've been harping on this, but milb camera/TV crews are just the worst. That ball seems like it was hit to the moon, would have been nice to see it. Sitting in RF, looking into the sun, I'm not 100% sure, but I think it may have hit the parking garage behind the stadium in left, no joke.
  5. What do you think now? lol
  6. Vizcaino didn't retire anyone in the 8th after jokisch faced the minimum through 7. Single on a ball Javy should have had, walk, seeing eye single... Hatley in, who I just learned is white
  7. Bryant ripped a double down the third base line
  8. Bryant did not look bad homering to the bullpen in right. Stayed on it well and got just enough to get it out
  9. Bryant looked bad on the two off speed pitches he saw. Alcantara hit the ball hard right at the third baseman. Lopez looked smooth, strong am throwing out runner on k/cs dp to end first
  10. I'm at the game, absolute no doubter. Outfield barely moved. Think it left the park entirely
  11. Wife and I are headed to the Iowa game tonight... Sitting in the lawn section in the outfield.
  12. People bring that up all the time, but I'm just not sure it will ever happen. It would take football becoming immensely less popular because of danger or something and even then, most of the guys that I feel like would be the best soccer players are generally basketball players... And basketball doesn't seem likely to lose popularity any time soon.
  13. Heck of a fight, just not enough in the tank and not enough time
  14. That was it
  15. I thought jones was putting that one in
  16. Holy cow
  17. Also, why bring Mix if your go to playmaker is going to be Green?
  18. Sub comes way too late
  19. And that definitely ends it
  20. How do you use that last sub? Jozy? Mix?
  21. That's on Besler... Not that he hasn't played excellent all tournament, but still
