  1. But it's so hard to say no to pie, no matter how full i am
  2. Quick update: After the 9/29 game in HOU, here are their stats over the last 10 games: Macias - 5/25, 1 HR, 1 RBI, .200/.240/.360 Perez - 10/41, 0 HR, 2 RBI, .243/.268/.317 Yep. Coincidentally, Lee is hitting .314, with just 3 RBI.
  3. I thought August 31 was the ultimate trade deadline, waiver or not?
  4. 4-0 for a .500 record. A time machine for a winning record

  11. Ha ha ha! I posted in another thread that i was counting down until he used the "Rush Street Excuse"
  12. Unfortunately, the Cubs are like Britney Spears. No matter how many people think they suck and should change, they never will, because there will always be millions of morons who pay to see them regardless of how bad they are.
  13. Thus my "9th inning, meet nutshell" comment in the Game Threads.
  14. Macias's AVG+OBP+SLG Close and late is still lower than Lee's AVG in that situation. Hilariously depressing. Just think, if Macias hadn't started, he surely would have pinch hit, so you lose either way.
  15. Cubs 9th inning, meet nutshell. Nutshell, 9th inning
  16. Can you all please lose this week so we can start over?
  17. Cliff Bartosh. He has a .704 point lead over Z. Nuff said.
  18. Seriously, who kidnapped Mark Prior and put this guy out there? Giving up hits to the opposing pitcher? Is his confidence totally shot or what?
  19. Good lord, who the heck ARE these Pirate players?
  20. Lee's K numbers seem to be skewing sharply towards the mean in the 2nd half, eh?
  21. Maholm must not have the book on Macias yet.
  22. Lineups: PIT 1-Sanchez 2B 2-Redman RF 3-Bay LF 4-Mackowiak 3B 5-Eldred 1B 6-McClouth CF 7-Cota C 8-Furmaniak SS CHC 1-Macias 2B 2-Perez SS 3-Lee 1B 4-Nomar 3B 5-Murton LF  6-Burnitz RF 7-Blanco C 8-Patterson CF
