    To be fair, this series IS more important than it has been in past years. For several seasons, the wildcard was coming out the East regardless of whether the Yanks or Sox won that division. Now, with the White Sox leading the WC, it's very possible that the 2nd place AL East team goes home in October.

    have I mentioned my absolute disdain for preseason polls? IMO, they shouldn't put out the first poll until after Week 6. But god forbid NBC or ESPN can't put little numbers next to the team names in their ads :roll:

    The blue jerseys suck. They don't fit right. Zambrano's always looks 3 sizes too big. White/pinstripes at home, grey on the road. And everyone should be required to wear high socks.
