    I hadn't heard I know, you'd think with a game that big that they'd give it more attention! I haven't seen anything on TV about it. i think if they ever decide to put it on TV or something they should call it "Super Bowl 41 1/2". that would be very original

    The end of that game shows why the Bulls need Kobe or some other "star" player to take over at the end of games. We've got a ton of great young role players. We need a go-to guy. drivel> cliched maybe, but we don't really have a go-to guy in those situations. Deng is great, but doesn't have the ego to demand the final shot. Gordon has the ego but doesn't have the accuracy. The lack of inside presence last night was maddening on both ends of the court. The amount of points in the paint for the Nets had to be way higher than the Bulls. When your entire team relies on 12+ foot jump shots to score, you're bound to shoot yourself out of games

    I can live without Gordon. Yeah, he shot us back into the game in the 3rd, but overall he was 8 for 28 or something and totally blew the end of the game

    +1 Only problem is that he needs to go on Celebrity Fit Club or something and stop being such a fatass if he's to play the OF. He's two years away from making Manny look skinny. he's about two Twinkies from making Bartolo Colon look skinny

    Given the makeup of the team, I'd rather Kobe replace Deng than Gordon replace Hinrich. You have to look at the overall composition of the team. We're either going to have Gordon (who sucks at the point and is a defensive nonentity) or Thabo (raw, inexperienced, poor FG%, turnover prone) playing the point. How did Jameson Curry look in preseason? I didnt get to see many games, but isnt he a point? Also you still have Duhon, who can play it adequately. Duhon? JamesOn Curry? That's not a realistic backup plan. I'd really make every effort to hold onto Kirk. I understand about needed to balance salaries, but man. I think you are forgetting its not some slouch we are getting, its the best player in the league. You wont need an All Star pg, just somebody who can basically bring the ball up the court, and not turn it over. well that rules out Duhon

    do the Bulls still have a Veteran Minimum contract they could throw at a stop-gap PG?

    If Deng stays and Thomas isn't one of the "parts", I already like this deal for the Bulls, assuming they still have a PG at the end of the night. thabo can play PG, or you can suck it up and play Gordon at the point. or you can make Bryant be the least assist-y PG in the world
