He hit .293 which would've been towards the top for this team. Not to mention the 60+ SBs he brings to the table. I'd rather have Pie in CF just for the sake of developing a young guy by letting him play. But if he goes, I'd take Pierre over w/e trash you have in mind (Byrd?) any day. i have never once advocated adding Byrd. and he hit .293? Wow. His IsoD was .34. That's horrendous. His OPS was .684. Good god. He had a whopping 33 walks in 729 PA's. Juan Pierre is not terribly good at baseball. and as i've said, 60 steals is nice and all, but he was caught 15 times, which negates 15 of the times he got on base (which he didn't do very often). Also, for a "speedy" guy, he managed just 24 doubles and 8 triples in a pitcher's park.
