What's your thinking for that? The Phillies can hammer the ball, but they pretty much have one starter. And so do we. Z is a stud, but outside of that Hill has been shaky, Dempster is pitching way above his head, gallagher is doing decent but nobody is expecting him to be a top notch starter his first year and then there's marquis... Fact of the matter is though Dempster could be a an All-Star. He won't keep it up but right now that is what he is pitching like. And like someone else said when he falls Lilly either before or some point after will rise. Demp will likely go from his 2.7 now to pitching 4 in the second half and Lilly is at like 5.3 right now and should be more like 3.7 like least year. That's more of an improvement than Demp's drop. Now those are just my random numbers but I would say it will turn out pretty close to those. we're actually enjoying the best case scenario, with Dempster holding strong and Lilly improving: RYAN DEMPSTER
