    not having Tebow hasn't hurt....except that Florida beat Bama, are in the national title game, and have a better 3 year record during Tebow's tenure than Bama does. But other than that, no problems

    update: people still don't like you more later More later? I think that pretty well sums it up. It's amazing how a guy who was banned for mocking the site then let back in on probation is allowed to openly mock the rest of the board by bragging how he has most of it on ignore. He should have that probation revoked. Oh, and if he's got the time to add 40 pages of foes, he can take his time and read the damned thread. Everyone else stop giving him summaries. at least he's contributing a new Front Page article every week

    SOLs screw with the winning % system, since it's technically a loss for one team and a win for the other, and yet an extra point is awarded. what I'm asking is why not ditch SOL's, make it a straight up W-L record and go with win %? Because the league still wants to reward a team for pushing a game past regulation. At least they ditched the ties. Those were the worst.

    serious Hockey question (because I don't know the answer): Since they eliminated ties, why do they continue with the points system in arranging the standings? Why not go to a traditional win % system like every other sport? I understand that they're giving a point for a SOL, but how different would the standings really be if you scrapped that and went to win %?

    What's the timetable for teams signing/renewing their Player Development Contracts with minor league affiliates? Rumors around Columbus say that with the opening of their new downtown stadium, that they want to lure either Cleveland or Cincinnati here. The Clippers' PDC with the Nationals ended last year, and I believe the Indians and Reds contracts ended with their AAA affiliates as well.

    This is why, before my child goes to preschool (in the rare chance I actually have kids) I'm going to tell him/her that some kids at school will believe in a fictional being who delivers presnts on Christmas, and not to believe those kids. I still plan on having Christmas, just without Santa. Should be interesting once my kid tells other kids that Santa doesn't exist, though. especially if their dads own guns
