    well the Bulls just erased a 17 point, 4th quarter deficit to tie it with under 2 left. How do they lose this one?

    but DePaul doesn't care. They get their cut of the Big East pie and don't have to spend any money on coaching or recruits. joining that conference was the worst idea ever.

    It's not like Atlanta is very "central" to teams like Boston College, or that NYC is "central" for DePaul or Marquette. If you wanted to do a true rotation of Big 10 cities you could do Chicago, Indy, Milwaukee, Detroit and Columbus or something (though the latter would probably be overly unfair)

    His philosophy on hitting is the exact opposite of Billy Beane's (who says that strike zone judgment can't be taught, but power can be acquired).

    I knew I'd get his name wrong. Seems like Choo and Sizemore are locks, so it'll take a bad Ben Francisco to get LaPorta up (unless they want to DH him or Hafner gets hurt again). I doubt they'd bring him up to sit on the bench

    You hate a guy for negotiating in what he believes are his best interests? Commie. i hate him for continuing to refuse very, very generous offers when no other teams are interested in him (at least publicly), and when people all across baseball are taking less money this offseason. but hey, that's just manny being manny. and he's as cool as the other side of the pillow. booyeah. He feels like he can play for 4 more years and he doesn't want to go through free agency again after this year. Is this really hard to comprehend? and we're already in spring training and NO ONE is willing to give him 4 years, so he's either going to have to back off those demands or play for zero more years. is that really that hard for you to comprehend? Teams need him more than he needs the money. He'll just wait it out.

    The Dodgers are now basically saying "show us these magical offers from other teams and maybe we'll continue negotiating with you." In other words, "Boras, you're full of Howry and you're not going to get us to bid against ourselves"

    probably sooner than later, but Rotoworld seems to think he'll start in AAA is it going to be like weiters, in...what...late may? depends on when they want to start his arbitration clock and/or when an MLB OF gets hurt.
