    You do realize our annoying scrappy white guys will keep that game close and possibly be in a position to win the game in the last 5 minutes right? \:D/ it's actually a game without much upside. If PSU wins, it's not a quality win and they've expended energy in the 1st round, and if they lose, they're off the bubble.

    I think it's Marshall's spot to lose, but I fear that Lou's quick leash on guys not throwing strikes, matched with his need to coddle veterans (re: Heilman wants to start), will mean Sean won't get a fair shot. We'll see

    HUGE win for PSU today. Wins against Indiana (and @Iowa) would put PSU at 9-9 in conference, and that's assuming they can't manage a win against Illinois at home or @OSU.

    Not that Ryan Leaf was a good pick, but I'm pretty sure he was the second overall pick not the #1 pick. Not to defend Ryan Leaf or anything but he had all the physical tools to be a successful player in the NFL he just turned out to be a moron. He is a large reason they have huge psych evaluations for players specially quarterbacks now. He was truly the consensus #2 player behind Peyton Manning. SD just got unlucky and well maybe should have done a little more evaluations outside of the football field. While I agree, in a sense, with what you are saying, mostly picks are judged based on how they perform, and Ryan Leaf's performance in San Diego was beyond ridiculous. They were both hugely wasted picks, even if Matt Bush was not a celebrated high caliber prospect, while Ryan Leaf was. Didn't Ryan Leaf show up to training camp having not thrown a single football (or worked out) since the combine?

    and since ownership isn't changing in th near future, it's hardly worth constantly bringing up. It is when people want to take swings at a GM like Paxson for things that are out of his control. no one knows what's going on with the Stoudemire deal, though. you simply assume that Reinsdorf is meddling
