    yet another disciple of the "every sentence is it's own paragraph" school of journalism Did you scroll through the whole story or just look at the first few graphs which were independent thoughts that needed to be separate paragraphs in order to get the full effect of the writing? I was being hyperbolic

    I'm all for sprucing up the grays, but I hated the Cuba uniforms, and the blue jerseys are horrible. I like the new road blue cap. It's darker and and less vibrant than the home cap.

    Frankly, I can't explain guys like David Eckstein and Aaron Miles getting starting jobs in the majors.

    With the additions of Javier Valentin, and Corey Patterson, along with currnet National Dmitri Young, Jim Bowden is trasnforming the old Montreal Expos into the new Washington Reds. Derwood you also forgot the likes of Corey Patterson, Joel Guzman and Josh Willingham are also in the OF mix some of them are non-roster invitees at this point

    this 3 game losing streak was a time when they HAD to win one of the three, but failed. Teams have figured out how to defense them now, and they're struggling for open looks. I can't see going 4-2 when the final schedule has MIN, 2xILL, OSU, IWA and IU

    If we were to sign Hudson (which we won't, but should) I'd much rather see him start at SS and platoon Fontenot/Theriot at 2B. Hudson hasn't played an out at SS in his ML career

    please no please no please no please no Still no word on it after failing to steal a win against Michigan and Wisconsin, Penn State is hitting a rough final stretch here and could play their way straight into the NIT, so I'll take any injury advantage I can get. they're staring squarely into the face of a 7-11 or 8-10 final conf. record, which is a few games short of what I was hoping for

    On the downside, the whole AIDS thing. I'm not saying I want to be Robbie Alomar. I'm just saying I wish I were a MLB player. It's a guarantee for hot tail. Pick up a guitar. Guitar > baseball for tail. probably better for AIDS acquisition too. If you're a heterosexual male, it's pretty hard to get AIDS. LOL
