  1. Treinan to the Dodgers, because of course. Roark to the Blue Jays, Lindblom to the Brewers (will inevitably win the CYA next year).
  2. Mets sign Wacha to a one year deal. Take that, Yanks.
  3. I reeeaaaallllyyyyy hate the idea of trading Bryant but if the Phillies offer something ridiculous like Bohm, Howard, Kingery and one of Pivetta/Eflin/Seranthony, do you do it? There are rumblings the Phillies really want Bryant.
  4. THINGS ARE HAPPENING [tweet] [/tweet]
  5. [tweet] [/tweet] Girardi must be excited. Terms not known yet.
  6. [tweet] [/tweet] Are we still on that Heyward and a prospect for Cueto train?
  7. Pham is a weird one for me, he has a career .844 ops but gets tossed around like a middle reliever, from one club to the next. Why Margot? defense? is he projected to have a good MLB bat? I realize hes young, but the numbers dont inspire me The deal with Margot is he was a top prospect for years and hit well in the minors and plays solid defense. The hope is getting him out of Petco/change of scenery would help him. (Last year he OPS'd .759 on the road vs .612 at Petco and still put up a couple WAR, which is better than Almora).
  8. It does seem almost too obvious to sign Hernandez and trade for Margot at this point. Two years, $10-12 mil seems fair for Hernandez. Then maybe one of our many lower level arms for Margot? I feel like we won't do anything until Monday though.
  9. Whatever, he's decent depth. He was pretty solid 2017-18.
  10. Pham really settled in with the Rays. Is he about go get expensive/are the Rays hoping Renfroe is a change-of-scenery candidate? Seems like an odd trade for them, though I can see why the Padres would do it. Also it just me or the Padres and Rays seem to make a trade with each other every offseason?
  11. Trading assets for Merrifield when we could just sign Hernandez would irk the hell out of me.
  12. [tweet][tweet] [/tweet][/tweet] None of these guys were top prospects and are all like a year or less removed from the draft.
  13. Oh Orioles [tweet] [/tweet]
  14. [tweet] [/tweet] A MUCH needed rotation add for the Phillies. Total gamble though. If he repeats the last two seasons then it's a solid deal. He could just as easily have his arm detach mid-pitch.
  15. Jonathan Villar on waivers
  16. Happy to have made this tweet
  17. [tweet] [/tweet] I must be missing something because he's been atrocious, a near 12 ERA last year with more walks than innings
  18. Also I liked Urias as a prospect for awhile so I'm annoyed I have to hate him now.
  19. Orioles are aggressively shopping Dylan Bundy and think a deal is close.
