  1. That's a gruesome lineup. If we don't win this then we don't deserve to ever win.
  2. I don't know, with deep lineups in the AL I think he'll struggle at first. Probably, but I don't think it will take him too much time to adjust.
  3. Psh, nah. Ask any superficial Yankee fan and they will say A-Rod sucks because he hasn't homered in a week.
  4. Is it just me or does Cisco seem to resemble Camden Yards?
  5. Before I react I would like to say that this is in no way directed at you rather at the Orioles. That being said.... Jeff Weaver, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Dude would make their starting pitching worse. This is the same Jeff Weaver who gave up 6 runs in 5 innings today and saw his ERA drop over a run (from 15.35 to 14.32) and has a WHIP of 2.59. Even Wade Miller thinks Weaver has pitched horribly this year. Would you want this guy http://assets.espn.go.com/i/mlb/profiles/players/65x90/6200.jpg on your team? He looks like he's baked out of his mind. No, wouldn't want him on my team, but this guy looks more stoned out of his mind: http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d6/dmm718/swisher.jpg
  6. Looks like a somewhat decent prospect. Hit well last year and has a good OBP. I'd make that trade.
  7. Woo, Ducks won last night. I finally got to watch part of a game and I remembered why I love overtime hockey.
  8. As good as Cust has been thus far in limited action and throughout his minor league career, I'll always remember him for his base running gaffe for the Orioles a couple seasons ago. I believe it was bottom of the 9th and he's racing home to score the game tying run, and he trips and falls, gets caught in a run down and is tagged out to end the game. It went something like that, I don't know if that's how it exactly went.
  9. EPatt is awesome. I'm looking foward to seeing him on the big league club.
  10. Billy Beane loves Nick swisher, almost as much as Kevin Youkilis. Good deal for the A's.
  11. If we draft Wieters or Fox somehow puts it together behind the plate while keeping up his offensive numbers, then we would probably just need a 1-2 year stopgap. I'm think Soto/ a cheap outside signee would be able to hold the fort down.
  12. That's insane. He's the real life Rick Vaughn.
  13. Why didn't they just fire him and let one of the minor league guys like Quade manage the team? He would have listened to everything the GM or president told him. The way the 2nd half of last season was handled was terrible. If we would have just given up and played young guys, we would have known that Theriot was good and wouldn't have wasted money on DeRosa. Also, could have gotten Murton a few more at bats. Brutal job, MacPhail and Hendry. I disagree that money was wasted on Derosa. He just needs to be used like he was in Texas. He makes a great supersub. We just need to be in position to use him that way. DeRosa has been pretty good so far. However, you are right, he could excel as a super sub and should be used as such.
  14. I like it for you. Yeah it seems fairly even, but Berkman is starting to catch fire. I picked him up in a trade a few weeks ago when he was rock bottom and now I'm sitting back and watching all his numbers improve.
