  1. Could still happen, one way or another
  2. Just got in from class. I like what I see
  3. He hasn't been very good recently. Maybe that's when he got off the roids.
  4. Small sample size
  5. It's a position in the Centre County, PA government.
  6. Should we be worried?
  7. I was actually gonna post a question on here yesterday asking if anyone knew how many ballplayers in hissory had 30 doubles, 20 triples, 20 homers, and 20 stolen bases in a season. There's my answer.
  8. If it'll make ya feel better, you can be the one to point out they were all earned runs. But yeah. I didn't have a huge problem if we skipped Marshall once to rest his arm, but continuing to rely on this piece of junk? Unforgivable. We should just cut him, but I don't see Hendry admitting to a mistake like this anytime soon. No it isn't like Hendry to admit a mistake period, let alone one so shortly after it was made. Steve Trachsel was at some point a respectable #3 or 4 starter. Not anymore.
  9. i'm not making much of it. PSU beat a crap team just like they should have. Clausen's completion % was helped greatly by a string of screen and dump passes, but his yards/throw was pathetic. oh, and Morelli is a total mook. i hate the guy. can't wait till Pat Devlin is the starter + 1 Morelli reminded me of his play last year.
  10. I suspect the genius's record will be close to the same as his predecessor's after three seasons. The difference is he will do it with flair and a couple of top 5 recuriting classes. Anyone even MENTION Ty Willingham and I'll punch them in the face. Do you know the extent of Notre Dame's senior class helping the team right now? Junior Jabbie - backup RB who's playing like 5 plays a game right now Joe Brockington - starting LB Maurice Crum - starting LB Ambrose Wooden - nickelback (who blows chunks BTW) Geoff Price - punter That's IT. Weis is working with a bunch of 20 year olds out there. The junior class is hardly any better. And that's because Willingham was too damn busy golfing to bother recruiting his last two offseasons as the coach. And his 2002 team was the luckiest in the history of sports as well as having a very good upperclassman group because Bob Davie actually didn't suck at recruiting. I swear, this is what I freaking hate about this crap. We start 0-2, get soundly beaten by two teams that should probably finish top 15 in the country, and everyone starts calling for the idiot coach who came before. This mess is still Ty's fault, and it will be until at least 2008. Derwood, Clausen's cockiness is a little thing called leadership. I don't know what you saw, but I don't remember seeing any mouth-running other than talking to his own team in the huddle. And yes, Charlie's playcalling was abysmal. We would have had a chance in the game if he'd taken the diapers off Jimmy sooner, because once he did was the only time we moved the ball all night. And Austin Scott was little but the beneficiary of a tired defense. What did ND's offense have, like, 6 three and outs in a row? They were beat by that time, and that's why Scott busted loose. First quarter, on the one good drive ND managed, Clausen ran for a first down on a broken pass play and was barking at one of PSU's linebackers. And why try to downplay Scott's performance? PSU's defense did it's job, which is to keep the other defense on the field so that the offense can take advantage. You seem to be acknowledging the ass-kicking but keep making lame excuses for it. The players aren't good, the coach didn't take many chances, the penalties were brutal. Notre Dame gave a piss poor performance. Take away the INT return and the punt return that led to the FG and it is most likely a shutout. They showed me nothing in the game that made me think they had a chance to win.
  11. Just got back. Woo Penn State!
  12. Pretty much. I couldn't fall asleep last night from all the noise outside. This weekend is just insane. the line for Cafe 210 West was a block long starting at noon. Oh, and FTH was it 83 degrees at 10:30 last night? That sucked I saw that and was not surprised. are you prepared for the inevitable non-white out? the alumni will eff it up I fully expect and anticipate that they will.

  15. I can only hope so. How about this one: 110,000 fans and 22,000 very loud students vs a young shaky O-line False starts galore.
  16. Hindsight is 20/20. At the time, Hamilton looked like he was worth a flyer, but no one expected the numbers he has put up this year, especially because of his past troubles and, lest we forget, up until this year, he never went past AA.
  17. Fortunately for me, I tend to not care what Lou Holtz thinks
