Sports Center live just reported the Cubs are not close to getting Peavy, but named no sources that I heard. Probably just reporting Rosenthal's article

Fine by me. I just posted it without realizing how much it's been refuted. And yeah, Rosenthal seemed good last offseason but now he's not saying anything new or breaking.

I don't expect the numbers Bradley put up last year, but I'd think he could easily post an .850 OPS. I'm down for that.

Well at worst it seems that we should know the outcome by the end of the week. Of course Towers said he wanted a deal before Thanksgiving and that didn't happen.

but their outfield (offensively) would be significantly worse. i guess there's a good chance that would be the case even if ludwick stayed though Depends on Rasmus production and the Ludwick drop off. It could be about the same or slightly worse. Rasmus is still a good prospect, but his rookie season will probably be a rocky one. However, Ludwick is gonna fall back to earth, so it's anyone's guess if this trade will hurt them much.
