absolutely. it didn't bother him the first two weeks he was up, but now it does. clearly.

the rule is you lose your best start of the week. you can't go by start times because the 7th/8th start could start at the same time. can't do the three strike thing because it's a pain in the ass.

don't really think anybody is doing that. some are just hoping he goes to a lot of them. Doesn't the article start by saying how many all star games he's been to as evidence of how good he is? that article is great, shut up.

Probably? I'm fine with Bryant in CF, but was kind of surprised at the lack of response to pulling one of our best hitters so Travis Wood can pinch run, and only then when it became a 3-2 count. That was the weirdest part for me. Was Bryant more likely to hit a double in a 3-2 count or something? Was he thinking the slight delay would work in their favor and against the pitcher? What the hell happened there? i assumed wood was getting loose or something for the first few pitches of the ab. if anything, having a fast runner at 1st would be less important on a 3-2 pitch.

and I love it until they're down 1 run in the 9th and lester has to pinch hit.

no. deciding not to tank doesn't necessarily mean you're going to win 95 games. they could have "tried" and still been out of contention by july and thus still traded samardzija.

disagreeing with calling him addy is not an old man thing. I know somebody with a daughter named Addison and the mother is constantly calling her Addy and it is incredibly grating on the ears. Addison Russell is no Addy. he just grasping at straws since "salad" didn't catch on.
