iowa state has beat 3 of the top 4 teams in the country. play #5 on saturday, play #9 the following tuesday. brutal. wasn't overly impressed with either iowa state or kansas tonight, but iowa state played an impressive final 13 minutes or so.

hield was merely human vs iowa st, which is how iowa st somehow had a shot to win it on a wide open 3 with 5 seconds left. i guess after watching ku/ou last night i should feel good about iowa st losing a one possession game in norman. i find it hard to believe that ou is going to continue to shoot 46% (?!?!) on 3s all season.

I hope not. I feel like like every year there's reports or people overvaluing him immensely like he's some sort of heralded talent. Even at his most hyped I still didn't think he was anything special Did anybody still think Jake Arrieta was an important prospect 2 years ago? awful -
i don't which was more egregious...making woodbury option #1 on your press break on consecutive plays (shocking result - two turnovers) or running the mike gesell brick/throw the ball out of bounds offense instead of going through dirk nowitzki with 8 extra teeth down the stretch.

so assuming he won't be playing 2b at age 38, he's gonna be a 38 yr old non power hitting defensive liability at a corner OF spot in year 4? hopefully they're so rich by that point it won't matter and they can just dump him. -
I don't disagree with you. But it seems like most teams still get hung up on it. has any GM ever actually said that? man, i'd be furious if the cubs turned down a better offer because the potential trade partner was in the division.

Yeah MSU has been this fluckey team that hasn't belonged for several yrs now. BTW, you should check out the total yds in the Michigan game. nobody's saying they don't "deserve" to be in this year, you weirdo. them being good two years ago or whatever doesn't mean they weren't lucky to win the mich game this year.

Iowa st was up 7 with 1:36 left and the ball on the kst 45. Kst had 1 timeout left. Iowa sts win probability is like 99% right? Instead of taking knee, Iowa st runs the ball and fumbles. Kst recovers, scores td a few plays later. Iowa st fumbles again on the next possession with 10 seconds left, kst kicks game winning fg. that is basically impossible to do. bravo Iowa st.
