after 4 innings of each of our starter's starts last night, i was up 3. now i'm down like 50.

quite the clusterf at the top of the east GHS 11-6 KR 11-6 RWD 11-6 HBC 10-7 i believe if i beat raw this week (he's 8-9) i would guarantee myself finishing ahead of him, though i think his playoff chances may technically still be alive. the question is, who do i want to win the kid rodelo/HBC matchup? an HBC loss goes a long way toward guaranteeing myself a playoff spot, but a rodelo loss helps me in my efforts for a first round bye...

is he the one that put heyward in his lineup today or did one of the commissioners do it? in any event, he should not be allowed to have heyward in his lineup. lineups are due monday and heyward wasn't in the lineup on that day. and it's not like he just came off the DL. i think it's pretty clear that he can't be in there.

lots of big intra-divisional games this week. for the second time this year, having an illegal roster for chuck is paying off big time against me. seth smith, who would not be in his lineup if it weren't illegal as [expletive], is having a big game. good news is, i should be in line for a waiver claim on heyward or beltran this weekend, so that's exciting.

porcello was in the minors when the week started, which is why he's there on my team now. i'll have him either on my major league roster or dropped by tomorrow's roster deadline.

He's got some weird ties to Indiana. I think he went to Culver Military Academy. He also has some ties to Columbus OH, that's why the Clippers were the AAA team for so long. Yes, he did go to Culver. That's who was playing my school when he came to the game. I had forgotten the name until you mentioned it. the plot thickens -

i don't think he actually started. everything i've read says he was scratched from his start.

I know he had no intentions of keeping Hamilton, but that is a horrible decision he made. He was the Dennis Eckersly of the 2000's. Hendry didn't know that he was completely off clean and had his life back together, just as the Cubs didn't know if Eck was off the booze, even Dennis admitted to it when he said he "didn't blame the cubs for trading him." Just like the 80's I wish we had Eck after we traded him and josh now WHAT.

norris wasn't replacing a player who was injured, benched or was otherwise scheduled to make a start and then did not. same with when kid rodelo picked up morrow mid week a few weeks ago. don't really see your point since you DID get to keep norris' points just like kid rodelo got to keep morrow's points.

i had a guy that was scheduled to start and he got bumped to next week. that seems like a pretty valid reason to pick a SP mid week to get your 7 starts. the decision to bump kennedy wasn't made until after monday. i should be punished a start because kennedy didn't make his scheduled start?

it's too bad the game couldn't have ended with gorz hitting into a double play with the bases loaded. that would have been hilarious.
