  1. we're all very proud of you.
  2. You shouldn't have been that close in the 1st place. Who starts Chris Capuano over Josh Johnson? I only started 6 pitchers too. Of course, my 7th only got 1/2 point. there was a 100% chance of rain in miami and the radar looked like someone barfed all over south florida. i couldn't take the chance of a rainout so i went with capuano. hamilton getting pulled after 1 ab in the night game didn't help either...
  3. hamels is a hell of a lot closer to a #1 than samardzija is to a #3, that's for damn sure.
  4. i like the idea that the cubs will be playoff-ready in 2014, but not WORLD SERIES WINNING ready until 3 years after that. you really need three practice runs in the playoffs before you can even THINK about winning the world series.
  5. this is why you shouldn't watch the games on sunday if your matchup is close. i lost by 4.25. in the stl/mil game, greinke is pitching, jaime garcia is on 3rd with one out. medium deep fly ball to cf, should easily score garcia. but hampered by either a head injury or a basic misunderstanding of the rules of baseball, garcia gets all confused wandering around off third like a lost puppy. doesn't score. if his parents weren't brother and sister, he scores, -4.5 to greinke, i win by 0.25. so, in conclusion, [expletive] jaime garcia. also, zobrist and cruz both miss homers by like a foot in the night game, so don't watch the night game either if your matchup is close.
  6. yeah, wtf. have him in another league.
  7. any time you can nab a 25% 3 pt shooter from the MVC that isn't a point guard, you gotta make it happen.
  8. enjoy rayvonte rice, illini fans.
  9. stop following me around, weirdo.
  10. I hope he goes to a school that wasn't restricted. Saw a thing from his AAU coach that he may still try for a full release. he's apparently visiting iowa state in may.
  11. Go away Rayvonte he's probably better than sal mineo or whatever that guy's name was.
  12. so today went pretty well for bo ryan.
  13. Was it even Hoiberg's staff that recruited him? his recruitment was right around when hoiberg was hired, so there may have been some overlap.
  14. he's 18. then ryan shouldn't care if this bench warmer leaves to play somewhere else.
  15. all i know is that the next time hoiberg talks to matt thomas about committing he should probably just play a tape of the mike and mike interview.
  16. such BS. coaches put time and resources into recruiting hundreds of guys. they aren't owed anything because of the "resources" they put in recruiting a kid. give me a break...that's moronic. agreed with SSR...no idea why this is allowed/legal. so funny that ryan went on mike and mike to try and salvage the situation...
  17. Usually you follow up your backtrackimg after being wrong with some namecalling. Half assing it today? don't ever change, you!
  18. At least Bo is being classy about it. http://www.metrosportsreport.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6493&catid=184#.T4zultg-aZI.twitter :good: Seems a bit harsh, but rumors are that Iowa State possibly got in his ear. If he really "wanted to be closer to home", that's the only school that he should be upset about. B1G regulations would make it tough to transfer to Herk. He was Bo's top recruit last year, Bo invested time, scholarship, and practice/teachings. I try to consider it like a non-compete in business, or when businesses pay for someone's MBA but require them to stay with them for at least 2 years following. I understand the kid is only 19, but he made a decision and there are consequences. no, it's pretty lame of Bo. Sorry. seriously, give a break. it's NOTHING like a non-compete. your coach is a dick.
  19. you're the best.
  20. It doesn't really matter who is in your bracket, that's the upset region. Also will you tell me how awful you are all year again next year as you win 30 games? that's less annoying than you telling everyone how good illinois is as they lose 15 games.
  21. has there ever been a ss in the history of the world that was super good defensively in the big leagues at age 22?
  22. I think the stupid NBA draft eligibility rules have a lot more to do with ruining BB than Cal. yeah, how is cal "ruining basketball?" is he NOT supposed to recruit the best players? "no thanks, anthony davis, i don't want you here." Gee I wonder if the $200,000 has anything to do with it? Waiting for the Davis lawsuit to happen. So smart abuck. So smart. And this kid was a pretty big Georgetown lean and suddenly is UK bound. Prolly Cal playing by the rules again. my goodness, you are a baby.

  24. NOBODY is available at 3b.
