  1. I don't think anyone alleges those teams as tourney teams anymore. They could each play their way in, but given their recent play, and the schedules, they'll all probably fall short. And then Iowa State will be left out in favor of La Salle lasalle's road win at duquense is probably better than any of isu's road wins...[expletive]. You should have had that first game at the Phog too. That would have had you solidly in. yes. kinda blew a home game vs. mizzou too. i think they're in if they beat OU and TT and finish 20-11, 10-8. their rpi is 38 right now, and even losses to k-state, baylor and mizzou wouldn't drop that too much (i wouldn't think). only one team outside the rpi top 40 didn't make it last year, and that was harvard. people thought colorado getting snubbed was a travesty and their rpi was in the mid-60s.

  3. just look at recent transactions and it will show who everybody dropped.
  4. if iowa beats crappy penn state tonight, they'll be in front of three alleged tournament teams in the big 10 standings. gross.
  5. Are you ignoring the lengthy PM I sent you on purpose. hey let's not make the new guy who took over the shittiest team ever quit after 1 day.
  6. the good news is, your team is so shitty you can probably fit wade davis' points under your cap.
  7. damn it, my entire season out the window.
  8. seriously though, minnesota has no chance. they're seriously going to finish like 6-12 in conference.
  9. actually, since most people have minnesota getting in, iowa should be a lock for like a 4 seed.* *iowa state's million point win over iowa is irrelevant, and iowa state is playing a first round road game in the NIT.
  10. you're jockeying with northwestern for like 8th place. you want indiana to win.
  11. c 1b freeman - exempt 2b weeks - exempt ss rollins - 428.25 3b wright - 304.75 of cruz - 389 of of u trumbo - exempt sp lincecum - 647 sp j. johnson - 218.5 sp hanson - exempt sp kennedy - exempt sp rp rp total - 1987.5 at one point, i had a group that totaled 1999.25, and i kinda wanted to keep them just to win "closest to 2000" ever.
  12. On the plus side for KSU, with games against Baylor, Mizzou, and ISU still on the schedule, they have a chance to play themselves back into the conversation. On the negative side...nothing about the way they're playing gives you any reason to think they can win those games. yep. if they split baylor/mizzou, that's possibly going to bump them ahead of iowa state (assuming they beat isu in manhattan). if they lose them both, they could be toast.
  13. decent name for a gay porn.
  14. i mean, they're called the "corps boys" for crying out loud.
  15. k-state losing probably makes the night a net gain for iowa state. k-state's rpi now in the 60s. texas losing one of two games in OK this week would be appreciated.
  16. yes, the best thing for purdue at this point is to not play.
  17. not all that impressed by baylor. isu shot like garbage and baylor's 6'10" guys were like 80% on 18 footers.
  18. lunardi now has iowa state and purdue as 10s, with illinois a 12 and minnesota in the play-in game.
  19. I would be really surprised if Purdue made it in with 18 wins, that would mean a losing record in conference. Why are you worried about Purdue anyway? ISU has a much better resume at this point. Your worst loss (Drake) is pretty much a wash with our worst loss (Butler), but you've got wins against Kansas, Texas, and Kansas St. which are all better than our best win to this point (Temple?). Losing @ Penn St. really hurts Purdue too. If Purdue had those two games back and had beaten bad Butler and PSU teams they would only be worrying about seeding right now. The bracketologies I have seen have Iowa State and Purdue in the same range (usually Iowa State is a little ahead, but they're both in the 9-11 seed range). I'm not completely sure why, but it's pretty consistent. That's probably why he's concerned about a school like Purdue. yes, this. plus, i have to keep tabs on any big 10 malcontents that could end up at isu in 2014.
  20. look, not every school can bring in the 5 star recruits that you need to say...compile a 5-7 record in the big 10. sometimes you have to get creative.
  21. look, you don't just walk into drake and win. it's basically the cameron indoor stadium of the MVC (6,000 seats and under division).
  22. penn state's good.
  23. i guess that's (hopefully) good news for isu if 18-13 purdue even sniffs the tournament.
  24. that right there gets you like a 2 seed in the tourney.
  25. i'd rather have hoiberg + all the transfers than greg mcdermott + doug mcdermott.
