sarcasm? Are they even a tourny team? no. though i guess if they finish 5th in the conference they could get in solely based on that. lunardi has isu as one of the first four out and he has texas (who isu beat) in as a 10 seed.

i guess it should make me feel good that isu gave kansas a better game than baylor? i watched just long enough for thomas robinson to rape a baylor guy so bad he got pregnant. that guy couldn't get a foul called on him at home if he chopped a guy's arm off with an axe.

it's the gypsies. Thomas Robinson just clotheslined a kid, no call. in the first half he elbowed railey in the neck. they didn't call a foul...they just stopped play and talked to him. robinson called for one foul on the day. isu pissed this one one away though. i [expletive] hate chris allen. i think izzo just kicked him off the team for being [expletive] terrible.

If that's the case, I'm willing to bet the only real competition the Cubs have is the Marlins. Don't be so sure. Just because the Cubs are a bigger market than the other listed teams doesn't mean that someone else won't make a higher offer. The last thing we want to do is over flex our financial muscles just because we can and next thing you know we're offering 9/120 when the next best offer is 6/50. GOOD POINT

that's the price you pay for wanting to have him when the cubs could potentially be good again. if they continue with the attitude of "we can't give ____ a bunch of money because we're more than one player away," they will never get another good player/be good again.

i hope the group of inbred, turtleneck wearing, sister [expletive] mizzou fans that sat behind me at the game got into a terrible car accident on the way back to their meth lab/shack/living quarters in missoura last night and died a horrible death. nothing more obnoxious than road fans acting extra fan-ish to REALLY show the home team just how much they love their team...decked out in mizzou gear from head to toe, overcheering about every little play that happened, etc. they were also doing that thing where they call their players by their first names so everyone knows, "yep, they know that guy." "COME ON KIMMIEEEEEEEEE." also, nothing more condescending/racist than middle aged white guys calling black college kids "son." [expletive] those guys.

as has been covered a million times, it is a completely stupid philosophy to bank on potential FAs being available/signing with the cubs. if you're willing to give hamels a huge contract after 2012, how about just giving garza a huge contract after 2012 (if he's willing) instead of trading him now? also, the phillies have been overpaying for everybody in sight for the last several years...you really think they're all the sudden going to start with a new philosophy with hamels? trading garza with the attitude of "it's OK, we'll just sign hamels," makes no sense. -
