just a reminder, you don't have to justify your lineup swapping for starting pitchers. do whatever you want. you can pick up a new SP off the FA pile every day if that's what your heart tells you to do.

by the way, no hitters are now worth an extra 10 points, perfect games an extra 25. just cut in half from previous years.

High of 41 with rain scheduled. I'd be surprised if it started on time in any case. It seems every time there's a little rain in the forecast somebody says something like this. I don't get it. and eeyore is usually so optimistic. -

They're 32nd in Pomeroy and definitely don't suck at home. They had won 19 straight and beat up on an average ACC there. i didn't think they deserved to be in the tourney and i'm still not convinced they're particularly good, but this NIT run will definitely be beneficial. not feeling good about iowa st's early season matchup with them next year even though it is in ames.

oh [expletive] hooray, NCAA going to issue a statement on the botched charge call. if iowa st gets one more of those they get a free sandwich. what a shitty season. just once I'd like the national controversy about a blown call to be about how iowa st WON a game because of terrible officiating.

iowa st wouldn't have been in it if not for him [expletive] all over himself the last 7 minutes. last possession could not have gone better. I sign on for that shot all day. a three pt play on that horse [expletive] charge call puts iowa st up 4 with a minute and change left. part that stings the most is the absolute collapse of the rest of the bracket and the legit chance they would have had at a FF.
