  1. Subject to change my keepers will be: RB Ronnie Brown RB Jamal Lewis WR Andre Johnson
  2. this idea is a good one.
  3. I don't think giving the champ a 4th keeper would do the league any good in the long run. They are theoretically already the best team and allowing them a fourth keeper would just give them a big advantage. If you really want the winner to get something I would be fine with everyone throwing in $10 and winner takes all. Although I think we talked about money and mostly everyone was opposed.
  4. I cannot believe this.
  5. It would be a huge snub if he isn't selected. I'm pretty sure he's a lock.
  6. Seriously? Dead serious. Was his pitch count even at 85? But he's Jason Marquis. And it's early June, and he was pitching well before giving up two baserunners. And it's Carlos Marmol, the guy we need to not have 100 appearances on his arm going into October. I have no problem with Lou pitching Marmol in those kinds of situations. If we want to get to October we're gonna need to pitch our best pitcher in that situation, and not Jason Marquis. It's when Lou brings in Marmol with a 4 run lead that drives me nuts.

  8. Wow, my team sucks. At least I get the first pick this year.
  9. Although KC isn't horrible this year, I really wish that they would get good.
  10. Because for the most part he was pitching good and his defense completely crapped all over him. Even so, I think I would pull a pitcher who when two runs were already in and they had 2 base runners But it really wasn't Z's fault. The defense was ridiculously bad. We gave them 6 outs. I could have seen pulling him, but I could also see leaving him in. I think if our starters went 7+ the last few games then Lou would have pulled Z, but with our starters not lasting long lately (or really all season) Lou was trying to get the SP through 7 at least. I'm not one for second guessing and at the time I probably would have agreed with Lou to keep him in.

  12. Nice AB, Ramirez. Even though it likely won't matter. God, I wish Lee could hit like you.
  13. Seems like the Cubs are selecting a lot of pitchers who have undergone TJS or other forms of surgery on their pitching arms. I kind of like it. There's a lot of risk involved, but we're getting first round talent still in round 10.
  14. Haha...playing "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow". I dont know why I find that so funny.
