Anyone want Bulls tickets for tonights game against the Rockets for free? The friend who was supposed to buy them from me had a family emergency and won't be able to go. I have finals to study for so can't attend either. I live by UIC (less than 2 miles from the UC) so you can pick them up on your way. I'd rather they not go to waste. I don't know. I think we match up pretty well with them. We took them to OT earlier in the year already. That epic series the two teams had a couple years ago showed how close the two teams were at that point. They have KG back now and we've added Boozer, got a real head coach, and our best player has improved since then (and we've lost a few complimentary players). I'm not saying we'll beat them in a 7 game series, but I wouldn't just give them a free ride to the Finals either. Just give it a few months and see how this team looks with Boozer fully healthy and integrated into the gameplan. It's pretty obvious that Boozer coming back is throwing everything off right now. And to be honest, I think I'm more worried about Orlando. I think they'll have a tough time beating Boston, but I don't like our matchup with them at all.

Good think Lee and Lilly are off the books this year. We better get Gonzalez or Fielder.

So they are both great players. Rose is probably asked to do more for his team, which decreases his efficiency and gives Paul the edge in many stats like PER. However, as much as Rose has improved his defense, Paul is better right now. They're both great and DWill is right there with them and I think it's safe to say that those 3 are the best in the game right now. And the fact that Rondo is even in the discussion is laughable. He can't single-handedly take over a game like the other 3 can and do on a regular basis.

Damn! I would have loved him on a 1 year, incentive-laden contract like the one the Fish gave him. Vazquez is a much better option than most of the trash we're looking at. We're gonna end up giving Brandon Webb (who I wouldn't mind on a deal similar to Vazquez's) like a 3 year, $34 million dollar deal

That's ridiculous. As ridiculous as it is that's probably what most of the country thinks. Well maybe not 5-6, but not top 3. I think a lot of people nationally have rondo (puke), Paul, Williams top 3. I don't know who they'd put #4 ahead of Derrick though. Maybe Westbrook? Nash? He's definitely top 3 for me at worst. Probably would put him #2 behind Williams right now with Paul and Westbrook 3 and 4

see, i would probably do that deal with a #1 pick thrown in, or maybe bj mullens or something (still don't think he'll be much, but he's a big body with some potential). krstic comes off the books this offseason and i still think harden can be a good player in a place where he's not dominated by two stars scoring 50 ppg by themselves. the other option is to just dump him for an expiring contract (peja stojo's contract, for example) and then make a run at melo in the offseason. Melo is not going to the sixers

Out of the 6 games after the circus trip 4 are against Orlando, Boston, OKC, and the Lakers. After that stretch we have a nice, soft schedule for a long time. Kinda sucks that even if Boozer is back for some of those games he'll still be getting worked in. Played well against 3 of them on their home court. Wish boozer was playing but it'll be a nice test to see where were at.

At least this game shows me I actually care. So pissed off right now. I wish we would have gotten blown out. Damn CJ Watson always doing the opposite of what I want. I wish korver wouldn't have passed that ball. Damn, Derrick better play tomorrow and we better win

Hypothetical situation, but if you had to choose between keeping Deng and getting a legit 2 guard or keeping our plethora of crap 2 guards but upgrading from Deng to Melo, which would you rather do? It obviously depends on the 2 guard we'd be getting so lets say OJ Mayo. Either way we have to trade Taj and 1 or 2 1st round picks. Is Melo the obvious choice like I think he is?

Normally I'd agree, but we can't shoot free throws and can't inbound a basketball.

Why do we have so many problems inbounding the basketball? Any other team inbounds that to one of their best free throw shooters easily.

Didn't Amare have a pretty bad game. I remember looking at his FG% last night and thinking he had a [expletive] game. I didn't see the game so I don't really know.
