    The best we can hope for is a 1-0 32 inning Brewers victory. The Best we can hope for is the Brewers being 3.5 games back instead of 2.5 come Tuesday.

    yeah basically for every guy in the card system there are 20 guys in another system who don't turn out to be great players at age 30. I know. This is why I said he's an extreme example. But he certainly seems like a late bloomer. The only way to find out is to give him a chance in the bigs, and he certainly deserves to at least be on the 25 man. Difference is, Hoff looked good in his first stint in the major, when he actually had some at bats. The second time around, he was basically a seat filler. I remember when Dubois and kelton first came up. Dubois looked OK at first, and kelton looked like garbage. Again, he could be a Ryan Ludwick. I really dont know his defensive skill set, only that hes primarily a first baseman whose played a bit of outfield. If he ever has a shot to make it, it will be somewhere else.

    It wouldn't be the end of the world bigslick but it IS the cardinals. so Cubs just do me a favor and beat them It not the end of the Wold, but it does suck to go into an off day riding a 2 game losing streak, meanwhile, your top competetion is playing agaisnt 2 of the worst teams in the history of the game,

    If Hoff was 5 years younger, hed be a top 10 prospect. As it is, he'll likely end up our primary lefty off the bench next year, and maybe end up with an 8 year big league career as a DH or bench player.

    Id much rather have Hoff than Ward. They have pretty much the same skill set, but Hoffs younger and probably faster, so everytime he gets on base you would essentially be burning 2 players.

    All of the sudden, this is a pretty big game. A. we dont want to go into the off day ona 2 game losing streak against the Cards off all teams and B. we dont want to enter Tuesday with the Brewers 2.5 back, and lets face it, I cant see the Brewers losing to that sami-pro team in our nations capital.

    Natspos(Redding) vs. Brewers(Sheets). Sure looks like we'll be 4 games up on them by the end of the night. Anyone else sick of hearing how the Brewers are 3-0 since the Parra/Fielder fight, but nobody mentions that they've been facing NL whipping boys?
