  1. Crap, 2 on for the eerily quiet Ryan Braun.
  2. Your mindreading powers are commendable. How would that be mind reading? I believe intuition would be the term you're looking for. Well, I'm not saying your statement was true or particularly perceptive. Just that it was exactly what I was thinking. In fact, I hope it's not true! I hope you are not intuitive! :P I hope its very untrue. Usually, the Brewers arent very productive past the 6th, so it may very well get them by.

  4. Botched double play and ex Cub dont come back to get the Braves.
  5. the guy looks good, but I get the feling that the Braves are gonna need more than a 3 spot tonight.
  6. This Bennett guy is really cruising along here.
  7. 2 run single and Renteria thrown out at 3rd.
  8. Not a bad start to the game for this Bennett character. Strikes out the side with a few singles in between. I doubt hes going to shut down the Brewers offense the whole game, but I doubt Suppan will shut down the Braves. One thing you have to give Bobby Cox and the Braves, no matter where they are in the standings, they aint laying down for anyone.
  9. I love what Howrys doing now. I like what Eyres doing now. Id rather Ohman not be doing anything. However, as clutch as 2 of those 3 have been as of late, if we miss the playoffs by a few games, we have to look back at all the games that trio blew early on.
  10. Thats the easy answer, however, you need to ask first A. Which position needs to be adressed most, and B. Can we afford A-Rod without never being able to sign another free agent for the next 10 years.
  11. Yea he has, but Im pretty surprised at the rest of the team. Marquis has dominated Pitts lineup outside of Bay and Izturis(ha). With Wilson out of the lineup, I could see Izturis being one of those little rat bastard ex Cubs to come back to get us.
  12. Their last 2 games against the Phillies were without Pujols, and somehow they got both games into extra innings and won 1 of them. Here are the two lineups: Tuesday Taguchi Ryan Cairo Spezio Ankiel Molina Scumaker Wellemeyer Barden Wednesday Eckstein Taguchi Ankiel Spiezio Cairo Schumaker Molina Wainwright Miles Yeah, those are pretty bad. I think we have to hope that the Cardinals take 1 from Milwaukee. That lineup might be able to win 1 of 4 vs. the Royals, if they had a healthy Chris Carpenter on the mound. Anytime you have red beard at cleanup, you're in trouble. However, they did take one from the Phillies who have a better overall lineup than the Brewers.
  13. Personally, Id take Torii Hunter over Dunn. With him and Jacque Jones the way hes been playing, there would never be another base hit anywhere near right field again.
  14. Marvalous, the Braves are throwing out a guy who hasnt pitched since '04, and meanwhile we face 3 straight lefties this weekend. Why is the world out to get us?
  15. Good: Day Game Bad Era Bad Record bad: Lefty
  16. Hopefully the list includes Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun, and Corey Hart, and it comes out soon.
  17. If you're like me, you've been wanting Dunn for a long time. I'm guessing the odds of his coming here voluntarily are negatively impacted by this. Id just assume not have another guy whose going to strike out every other at bat.
  18. Now if you'll excuse me, Im off to practice my tomahawk chop.
  19. Lets hope Pence doesnt have a Cubs moment and ground into a tailor made DP.
  20. lets go El Caballo. God I feel dirty posting that.
  21. Astros bullpen has to go through Fielder and Hart if they want to keep the lead for The Killer Bees and Lees. Did Ryan Braun get hurt? Looking at game day, I find it odd that he was pulled as part of a double switch.
