I really do feel for Griff, as hes one of the class act in the game, however you need that killer instinct in a situation like this, and Theriot should have been sent. Its not like holding him at 3rd makes Griff better.

Brilliant move by Theriot. He knew he had a 50/50 chance of being thrown out, however he also knew that had he held at first, hed have a 90/10 chance of being the victim of a double play.

Thats what being the staff ace is all about. Getting out of trouble, not melting down every time a guy gets on base. Now is it too much to ask for the offense to get some runs so Teddy can get a well deserved W? Probably, but we'll see.
