yes. I'm pleasantly surprised, similar to after the Marshall trade. But then the rest of the offseason happened and the draft, which negated much of that optimism. Hope this works out better. I'll give Emery benefit of the doubt on the O-Line for one year. Obviously, its got to be addressed in a big way now. I guess I could see that being yhe point of emphasis, with the D getting a few stopgaps. I don't know why you'd give him the benefit of the doubt. It was a blatantly obvious need that didn't just get pushed to the backburner, it was completely ignored. Angelo ended up spending 3 first round picks on OL in his tenure but even with that his overall stance was to ignore it.
