  1. I’m happy they won. I’m glad Carolina lost. But part of me is irked that the same group of people feel this game was somehow a vindication for what Poles has done, how Eberflus has coached, and the way Bagent has played. They won this game because the opponent is bad, the QB was a panicky rookie and they had zero weapons. the best player on the offensive line is still the guy that was a holdover from the previous regime. Bagent did nothing in that game, and the offense left a lot of points on the field directly because of all the things Bagent can’t do. they won a game, yay. It’s good to win games, but they might only have 2 more of those left this season. Partially because Eberflus is not a good in game decision maker, and apparently not a post game explanation giver. Eberflus is the reason the Bears lost to the Giants last year and he will directly lose them another game this year too. He’s a clown (go back and watch that halftime interview and his uncomfortable smile) and yet a lot of Bears media thinks Poles wants to keep him here and would be justified in doing so. Ebeflus and Poles have been good at one thing, putting the Bears in position to draft high in the first round (but not the 2nd). Eventually you need to be good at beating good NFL teams, not just the bottom dwellers and teams about to fire their head coach. These two have not shown anything that indicates they are capable of leading the team to multiple wins over good teams.
  2. Refs making up for terrible call with back to back penalties here
  3. That’s an awful penalty call
  4. Why didn’t he throw to Forman?
  5. Bagent was probably 7th on list of bears offensive players that created that scoring drive and yet, he’ll be the most praised by a certain segment
  6. Yet, highly predictable
  7. The right side. All night
  8. Another primetime crew blowing Bagent as he throws a lackluster pass out of bounds
  9. That Eberflus halftime interview will go down on his post mortem highlight reel of cringe
  10. I didn’t see his last game but he started the year without this group of linemen protecting him.
  11. He’d probably have fumbled the ball that Bagent managed to recover
  12. Pretty intrigued by what fields might do with this much protection
  13. Very little pressure on young and he panics, but another Poles draft pick bails out Carolina by being bad at his job
  14. Cost of doing business if you want to be the qb of the Chicago bears
  15. Graphic shows 69 yards, Herbstreit says Bagents done a nice job checking down. that was no accident
  16. 5-2 going into 3rd. This team is not good but it’s so much closer than the bears to being competitive
  17. Good to see Bagent not making any of the mistakes Fields makes…
  18. Curious why you go 3 tight end and run left there. Can’t always go right, but when you’re rolling and just successfully faked to left side, just go back to pounding behind the good side
  19. Eberflus’s defense is bad sweat is not an impact player without 3 other strong defensive linemen bagent is extremely limited the offensive line is so much better than it was last year and early this season when the best player was missing Poles’s defensive draft picks and free agent signings are hugely disappointing
  20. Most penalized team in league yet?
  21. This was 3+ years ago https://defector.com/al-michaels-and-the-price-of-comfort
  22. Bagent throwing about -1 yards per completion
