  1. A) The fact that he is not going to be a power guy does not mean you cannot be concerned about his lack of power. It's just another knock against his chances to succeed. B) He's in his third season of professional baseball, this isn't an overnight situation.
  2. As long as hitting home runs or taking walks or generally not making outs aren't things we expect from baseball players, Almora will be fine. He's a [expletive] baby. Relax. He's a what now?
  3. or you could just not talk about Boston
  4. heehee shamone
  5. That ass that you are speaking out of, would you kindly remove yourself from it and wash yourself off? It stinks.
  6. Mount Rushmore is nowhere near Boston?
  7. As a happily married man I would feel obligated to at least hesitate.
  8. She's not hot, especially not to the standards of Hollywood, but she's an attractive lady with a very large bosom. So thumbs up here.
  9. That reads like a John Heyman tweet I thought similar at first, but if you give him the benefit of the doubt he's just saying that even though there is chatter that they will take Hoffman, his sources tell him that is not true. It's just poking holes in a rumor. Not particularly helpful or meaningful, but not exactly Heyman territory.
  10. if you do, it is 221, just above NBCsports
  11. To bitch about the front office
  12. Yeah, I would've thought that two championships in four years would've quieted the most pessimistic of fans. Why would you think this? Just look at Boston, they've won all sorts of titles in all of their sports and fans still freak out. Even their most "enlightened" fans, guys who made a name for themselves by ridiculing stupid sports takes, freak out when things don't look great. Why won't fans just stop worrying about how others fans go about their fanning, especially in the heat of the moment? If you can't just shrug off or ignore somebody's whoa is my team commentary, work on your own issues first.
  13. Mark Gonzales ‏@MDGonzales 6m Cubs option RHP Blake Parker to Triple-A Iowa in advance of LHP Wesley Wright's return from the paternity list
  14. I agree but I can see their point, everyone here are Cub fans so maybe that's where it comes from. But they are also presumably Blackhawks fans. You remember the Blackhawks, the team that has won two of the last four Cups and 12 playoff series in the last six years, including one against our biggest rival last year when they were down 3-1? But they are also Bears fans -- that team skating to the playoffs until their QB goes down in crushing fashion. And Bulls fans -- that team setting up for a multi-year run at the playoffs only to see it all ripped away mercilessly with injury. Twice. And Cubs fans. The reality of being a Cubs fan doesn't get wiped away by the Blackhawks winning a couple Cups. Only the ultimate can do that. Cut people some slack. All I'm saying. The '90s did happen. They did, a long long time ago.

There is only 1 Cup. there are actually three or four
  16. The type of idiots that care about things like landmark commissions care.
  17. I've definitely seen high praise for the guy by other writers within the past few months. They worship him like he was the Jeter of their industry.
  18. I always thought that girl was so sexy, even with her early 90's hairdo. Her smile in the scene where she makes the hockey goal is hot. and then she lost 30 pounds
  19. Reilly said without a hint of irony Why do writers think this guy is so good?
  20. Somewhere in the post-Super Bowl era the staple of the Bears offense on 3rd and longer than 5 was a handoff to Dennis Gentry for 4 yards.
  21. I think it was gil brandt that suggested it yesterday.
  22. I'd honestly rather never him involved with the team again than see a forced made up apology to appease the idiots. Anybody, whether it be Ricketts, Kenney, Theo, the media, any fan, who thinks Sammy owes them anything resembling an apology can eat a bag of schlongs.
