Letting one of them go? No way. Trade, maybe in the most extreme of circumstances. That's what I meant, but yeah. In the back of my mind I've always thought there was a chance Buffalo would do something crazy to trade for Kane. But in the real world I just don't think it is at all plausible or useful.

Considering it was a regularly scheduled DH, would it not have made sense to line up the guy you wanted to make the start instead of just relying on whose turn it was by the time it happened? I think it worked out okay. They got 6 innings of 1 run ball from Beeler and got to see what he looked like against ML hitters. I'm not saying he should not have gotten the call; I am wondering if there was more to him getting the call than simply the fact that it was his turn. I assume they wanted him making that start and had it lined up so that would happen, on purpose. -
pants will be peed, lines will be forgotten, but it will be adorable.
