    twitter doesn't make it sound great. he went into the day with support by bears beat people, based on his very public discussions about mental health reading a letter from his ex-girlfriend to Goodell stating he never hit her and it was all for money may come from good intentions but in this environment I am not sure how it would be interpreted.

    It seems like the facility upgrades are more than nominal while the proximity issue (as much as it is an issue at all) is nominal.

    They did. And just because it was their best available option 2 years ago doesn't mean it is now. Obviously, I just thought I read a lot of great things about it and am just a bit surprised about a move so fast. sounds like south bend is committed to a much more significant capital improvement plan than kc was planning.

    Seems odd to me that this went from Pick-em to Jets -3, while at the same time cbs pick-em has the game at Jets -1.5 yet the Bears are getting nearly 70% of the vote based on that line. Does this mean the general population thinks Bears but the people laying actual money are going Jets?

    This happens in the offseason so the players are not really affected at all. They and the coaches are tied to the organization. The minor league teams themselves are independently operated businesses with an owner, a GM (who manages the business, not roster decisions) and sales/marketing types. They will just have to adjust their marketing plans next year.

    But if Marshall was punished then how does it reflect poorly on goodell and his pattern of behavior.

    Already known dirty laundry. All they're saying is that Goodell never did anything about it...in 2007. Yawn. Yeah. I'm just sure it'll upset him to have it out there again. I'm a little confused why some are calling it "new allegations".

    I think you might be right, but I think he gets acquitted. He's got a high powered attorney, and Texas is pretty much equivalent to Mordor. On the one hand, you are allowed to shoot your children for discipline in Texas. On the other hand, black man. But then on the next hand, rich celebrity with lots of cash and the attorney.
