I don't understand. You are suggesting that the fact we know Castillo was on the trading block but didn't know Seattle was going to be his destination means the Cubs front office is not tight lipped? They went out and acquired two catchers. Everybody knew the next move was dealing Castillo. I don't think it had nothing to do with being tight lipped or blabbing to every reporter in town. I believe he's referring to the fact that everyone knows Castillo has been traded and we don't know the return IDK why either side of that necessarily has to leak from either FO in particular, though. (granted, it is the local chicago guys who confirmed the deal after passan) Passan's tweet is an hour old. Castillo may be the only major leaguer involved, is in San Diego and has to meet his new team in Baltimore. I don't think this says anything about the relatively tight lippedness of the Cubs front office.
