    I'm not saying she's at fault. He's completely at fault for her death. What I am saying is, getting into a car with an obviously drunk person was probably an unwise decision. The two thoughts are not mutually exclusive. That is easy to say when you aren't the girlfriend of a professional athlete that spends over half the year in a different country and you know is probably going to leave you for somebody but you really don't want him to leave you and are desperate to make him happy as a result.

    Stole? Nah I think we outplayed them the last 45 mins. Not by a ton but enough. Yeah but I don't think the Hawks were better enough to win in regulation after being down 1-0 with 12 minutes left. Even the goals weren't huge rallies with dominant offensive zone play. Never saw that ending coming, but maybe it's just me. I felt oddly confident toward the end of the game despite the 1-0 score. Seeing Tampa all but shut down made me think they were destined to at least tie it.

    Man that would be an amazing time. If there is anything better than a good Cubs team it will be a good Cubs team that insults the gentile sensibilities of those preachy coonts

    They would be pushed out of saturdays and will have to spread the semis out over a couple week nights which would severely lessen the "we own this block of time" aspect.

    A sprained ankle shouldn't take that long. Well they put him on the 15 day so maybe he comes back quicker than that. He was walking around on it without much of a noticeable limp. I had hoped for a better prognosis. 15day Dl doesn't tell you much at this point. They will rarely, if ever, immediately put a guy on the 60 day. They can always transfer him later. Plus 6 weeks = 42 days = no reason for anything but the 15 day DL.

    I would bet they play 4 games well before New Years, leaving the 2 games semis where they are and the championship a week later. College football will get trounced if they end up going against nfl January. The only place to fit more college football is mid December Saturdays.

    that is literally the only example of a team trading for a player to help them at the deadline so very good of you to include that and only that

    with the weekend trip to DC coming up it's worth noting that Sunday is the only day that does not have rain in the forecast. I might as well cancel my trip.

They can trade for guys who will also play for them in 2016. They can trade for free agents and resign them. E

    I remember pre-NSBB finding Neyer one of the few ESPNers that cared at all about sabr related issues. But he was lapped very early on in that department and became just as bad as the rest of them when it comes to talking about the mythology of baseball, rather than reality.

    Methinks thou doth protest too much. He can have all the learning seasons in the world but bad production is bad. If you don't worry about that you don't care if a Cubs prospect loses value, and I'm sure that's not true.
