yes well I didn't personally attend that game but I did attend the one last monday when bryant was garbage in the field. Granted, he was probably distracted by having such a handsome man so close by, but I still take personal offense to his failures.

i actually never understood the yankee hate. is it just overexposure from the media? i mean i am sure lots of people hate the cubs for that. i have a good friend that is a huge yankees fan and he always pulled for the cubs so i kind of return the favor for the yankees with him. plus i'm really happy for starlin. i would LOVE for a cubs/yankees WS this year. that would be amazing. Steinbrenners are truly awful humans Yankees fans are arrogant POS that think they somehow contributed to the 90s success. 80% of sports writers grew up as shitty Yankees mantle myth pushing garbage people that perpetuated every wrong baseball opinion that ever existed. But I'm sure your friend is a decent guy.
