this is dumb because while Mitch turned out not to be the answer, Nagy knew who he was when he took the job and at the time glowingly talked about him. Nagy was brought in to develop Mitch, not install his offense. Somehow, that has reversed. Nagy shares responsibility in the mess FWIW I know that the offensive coaches had relatively low opinions of Mitch very early on, it was why I've thought all along that Nagy would survive a Mitch collapse. I am assuming they were honest with Pace about what they (and the rest of the league) thinks about Mitch and felt they'd have an opportunity to help pick the next guy.
