  1. I'm not the biggest hockey guy either, but I think they definitely have a chance in this series. I'd bet against them though.
  2. The NHL continues to amaze me with how disjointed their release of tv schedules has been for the playoffs.
  3. Cubs have a 71 OPS+ against him in his career. i know, why the hell can't the cubs hit him Over aggressiveness? Unwillingness to go the other way?
  4. Maybe he gained 30 pounds since they worked him out. :D
  5. Cubs have a 71 OPS+ against him in his career.
  6. Looks like he already did. Listed on chicagobears.com as a guard. He was discussed in today's draft recap story as a likely TE.
  7. 1) It's Maddux, not Maddox. 2) You got the quote wrong. Maddux said long ball, Maddox said homerun.
  8. Miles is going to get that OPS over 500 one of these days, you better believe it.
  9. Yeah he's been really unlucky this inning. He walked the leadoff guy, gave up a double and threw a wild pitch. The ball that hit the umpire isn't really bad luck against Dempster. He didn't pitch particularly well no matter how you cut it.
  10. Is DLee flashing some more of his elite leather out there? What is a bunt single to second deflected by 1B?
  11. I'm pretty sure he skipped the '09 Regression and is in the middle of the '10 Regression already.
  12. I never would have predicted Augie Ojeda would be getting paid to play baseball at age 34.
  13. I'd bet yes, but what about an ERA under 4.50?
  14. Dusty probably does. He's always on top of that stuff. *I assumed that question was sarcastic by the way, considering the previous 5-6 posts all referenced the pitch count.
  15. There are probably many people who would much rather go to a Yankees game than live in your house or ride in your truck.
  16. And Miles with an OPS right around each of the above SLG.
  17. He might be building some sort of value, but I highly doubt it's killer. He might be able to be considered worthy of being the throw in for a lefty reliever or something.
  18. Lee/Johnson 4/5 makes that debatable. And a non-functioning Soto adds to that debate.
  19. They also slobber over guys on the bench saying the right thing at the right time to make all the difference in the world. I heard it said about a Flames player, Paulson in game 6, and a couple guys in other games. In that guy's mind, telling your team to "calm down" is the greatest thing a player can do in a hockey game.
