I'm not the biggest hockey guy either, but I think they definitely have a chance in this series. I'd bet against them though. -

The NHL continues to amaze me with how disjointed their release of tv schedules has been for the playoffs. -
Cubs have a 71 OPS+ against him in his career. i know, why the hell can't the cubs hit him Over aggressiveness? Unwillingness to go the other way?

Looks like he already did. Listed on chicagobears.com as a guard. He was discussed in today's draft recap story as a likely TE.

Yeah he's been really unlucky this inning. He walked the leadoff guy, gave up a double and threw a wild pitch. The ball that hit the umpire isn't really bad luck against Dempster. He didn't pitch particularly well no matter how you cut it.

He might be building some sort of value, but I highly doubt it's killer. He might be able to be considered worthy of being the throw in for a lefty reliever or something. -

Lee/Johnson 4/5 makes that debatable. And a non-functioning Soto adds to that debate.

They also slobber over guys on the bench saying the right thing at the right time to make all the difference in the world. I heard it said about a Flames player, Paulson in game 6, and a couple guys in other games. In that guy's mind, telling your team to "calm down" is the greatest thing a player can do in a hockey game.
