  1. How can something be surprisingly meaty, as usual?
  2. Maybe Yadi has a Quato?
  3. That's a weird conversation. Denver isn't looking to move on from Vic but if they do these are the guys they'd want, but the Bears are the leader in the clubhouse to hire one of these guys despite the fact that they are currently 3-2 and have shown no signs that they are ready to move on from their current head coach.
  4. Oh goody, another douchebro
  5. That's incredibly short sighted thinking. We are way behind on public transport and need all that we can get.
  6. Not sure what they are thinking. Everyone knows they don’t need him and he didn’t show well toward the end. Not sure what leverage they have. There's no reason not to pick up the option. It's a chance to acquire young talent using only money. It's very low risk, even though it's doubtful they can get back something huge. But there's going to be a contender that wants a solid closer going into the season for nothing but a decent prospect and a small financial commitment. It would be foolish to not pick up the option because your manager didn't know how to use him. That's like trading a 1st round TE because you hired an OC that doesn't use TEs.
  7. he's an horsefeathers, to be sure, but this is still weird. Incredibly weird.
  8. On that note they have 3 guys in the top 100 of this list, nobody in the top 2 tiers though. I guess in theory you could say a Dach or Toews could earn another spot in their but their lost 2021 and Toews' overall deterioration makes it unlikely. I'll be at the game on Friday in Jersey, first truly big indoor event in quite a while, assuming the attendance is a bit more than the 1,500 person capacity at Webster Hall. My kid practiced on that ice a couple weeks ago.
  9. That's one of the benefits of being old, I legit remember when the Bears dominated this rivalry.
  10. Historically I hate this idea, but with Fields, I'm fine with it. And since I don't have a coaching conflict that night and working from home pretty much removes the dreaded "morning after primetime game" vibes I say hell yes.
  11. His palm clearly came off, part of the oven mitt may have stayed in contact but not clear at all, call of field stands .
  12. I believe that was a directive from Andy MacFail (changed spelling of his name to illustrate my dislike) lmfao omg there's still a filter and i vaguely remember it Unacceptable
  13. Hoyer sounds a lot like our old pal Jim Hendry. I'm waiting for the, "compete within the division" quote. I believe that was a directive from Andy MacPhail (changed spelling of his name to illustrate my dislike)
  14. Want he also 0 for 2 throwing out runners stealing second? Pitch framing, baseball IQ, leadership.
  15. Did management tell him to do this or he’s gone? No reason to say Dalton is QB1 when healthy and then change your mind on Wednesday. The injured #1 QB is still our starter when healthy is coach speak. I don't see any reason to think Nagy had to be dragged kicking and screaming into making this decision. This was always the plan. Dalton was going to get some games, they were going to draft a guy early, depending on who that guy was is how many games Dalton would get. Fields was one of the few that could make this decision come earlier and once he was the guy it was only a matter of time. All that hand wringing for nothing.
  16. The possibility that he could return sooner than expected.
