sullivan asked hands tied question and about Zambrano decision. We were in close communication, he handled it properly. Obviously it's really unfortunate. His behavior was unacceptable to team and organization. Right now it is between players union and baseball. Can't talk openly today. 100% support Jim and our decision to put him on disqualified list.

Were Jim's hands tied at deadline? No, he hustled to try and make a deal, but nothing came out of it.

In the end, the final say for huge contract comes back to owner because it's a big decision. But it is the GMs job. Is Randy Bush a candidate? We are not going to look at internal candidates.

Tim and Oneiri A+ players in this business, most respect as I possibly could. Can strongly recommend giving opinions to new GM of who is most valuable, but ultimately the GM has to make decision for themselves and it's not the owners place to suggest that.

Ricketts As of today Jim hendry stepping down as GM of Chicago Cubs. First and foremost we didn't win enough games. Team performance not where it should be. Secondary goal is to win world series and we need fresh approach.
