Philly is not a top ten team. Arizona "looking good at the time they played" is meaningless because Arizona isn't good. And they lost to them. They lost to a mediocre Pitt team and a mediocre Detroit team. They barely beat Baltimore and it was at home. And Baltimore isn't as good as you rated them either.

I still don't see how Miami is "just outside the top 8" or how Indy is average. Miami is just another joke in the new joke of a division. And if not for a miraculous win one for the gipper victory last week Indy would be 1-5 with 3 blowout losses.

Seriously, I cannot believe somebody tried to say that. They drew less than 1.7 million people in an absolute dream of a season. Plus, Raiders fans are pretty much the worst human beings on the planet.

I'm thinking that Oakland has the best fans in sports (at least when they show up). Raiders, Warriors and playoff A's games have all been rowdy and at times it is that way when their teams aren't good/in the game. Oh my god I cannot believe somebody said this.

The number of over the air viewers dwindles every year and it is becoming obsolete. The key to a thriving sport is multiple television contracts and part of that is going through cable. TBS and TNT are as ubiquitous as networks go.

I think Moreland signed a 3-year deal, so he is still under contract for 2013. I hope the Cubs will explore their options for that role after the 2013 season. What they should do is get a good, young play-by-play guy to pair with Pat and have him call a few innings and let Pat handle everything else. But Pat's entire schtick is that he's just a humble play by play guy who knows nothing about what it's like to play the game so he spends the entire game praising his partners exploits and asking what the players are going through. I don't mean that as an insult. I just don't see him working as well with another play by play guy.

It's a day game, what difference is noon or 3? Throughout MLB history fans who wanted to watch or listen to a game have made an effort to watch or listen to a game. You can't play them all at perfectly ideal times. Every single person on here would be bitching if the Cubs were in the playoffs and played at noon. I would be ecstatic. And drunk. Mostly drunk, but also ecstatic.
