    I don't have a problem with this. It's a 1 year deal and gives you another option in CF. I really kind of feel like they have plenty of versatility in the OF already and this just gives you an additional option. I didn't want to see them use trade chips for an outfielder. Maybe he had a multi year offer in the table somewhere else so they gave him slightly more to take a 1 year deal, that seems unlikely but 8 million doesn't go as far as it used to.

    I received mine (the Locker Room Clubhouse 39THIRTY Flex Hat) but the World Series patch on the side was warped and didn't lay flat. I'm waiting for the replacement and hoping all of them aren't like that, but it appeared to have been ironed or glued on, so not quite the quality I expected. This looks like a common complaint with that cap and the main reason I didn't order one. I saw someone else's cap recently and it looked like a cheap glue on job as well.

    My hoodie shipped like 3 days after they said the ships at the latest day was. I chewed them up and down in emails and they gave me 20.00 in free credit on the site. I used that with the free shipping deal they were offering to grab a 35 dollar cap for 10 bucks. Both the cap and the hoodie are still in fedex Hell. The champions grey/black cap I ordered wont ship till the 29th at least thats what they claim. Fanatics as a company really suck. They have been shipping Majestic knock off shirts that aren't actually majestic shirts, just have the logo screen printed on them.

    I'm fairly sure I read somewhere he was taking the rest of the offseason off and will resume baseball activities in spring training. I can't recall where I saw that though.

    I agree. He's not terrible but he's not looking anything like early in the season or last year. I'm not even watching this game. I figured we were likely to struggle scoring runs without Rizzo and against MadBum.

    Rofl I can't believe people are blaming this on Chapman. Blame the botched relay throw. Also if Heyward is playing RF there you have runners at 2nd and 3rd and the possibility he still saves this game. Also blame the other shitty defensive plays this game. They haven't lost many games due to sloppy defense this year. This was definantly one of those games.

    I still love Mark, I hope he finds his way back to the organization some day in the future. I think, as he did that the collision and the line drive off the arm played a major factor but Dusty will always have a share of the blame in my mind. I think he has a lot to offer in terms of teaching pitching and it's a great role for him.

    My first thought after looking at Joe Smith's stats was "why?". Seems like we have a few better in house options than Joe Smith.

    I can't find confirmation of this anywhere, where did you read it? Not that it wasn't expected. CCO. Gonzalez evidently reported it. Yup, thanks. I guess maybe they call Patton back up. It's weird that he's had so much success in AAA but not much at the major league level. There should be a spot open on the 40 man with Matusz coming off, why not bring Rivero up? He has a full slate of options right?
