    Heyward 18 Price 18 Shark 15 Backload all the deals you have the Cubs adding new revenue streams every year, TV deal, and Jackson $$$ coming off the books. Give Heyward the opt out. Trade Hammel/Wood/Coghlan for bullpen pieces or minor leaguers.

    I'm gonna predict Rich Hill signs with the Cubs this week. Reports on he's close to a deal with a team for 1 year 5M deal. Theo signed Hill in Boston , and Jared Porter saw a lot of Hill last year. Could be a strong potential swing arm next season.

    Fernandez is probably the only guy I don't think too long about before including Soler in a deal / Wouldn't give up Baez in the same deal though.

I worked closely with one of them that entire summer. They are using the Mets deal with Bill Maher as a template. Billy Murray, Billy Corgan, Pritzker family, John Cusack, Eddie Vedder, Wirtz Family to name a few.

    The Cubs have been trying to line up selling off a silent stake in the franchise to a group of celeb investors. This would allow them to operate free of the debt structure they are currently limited by. Getting this done before Hot Stove season begins would really open up the Cubs options for spending this offseason.

    I really hope Gaudin's back comes up lame. He is a solid young starter/swingman to sell low on. Patton has been been filthy this spring as well as last season in the minors. It would be a shame to lose either of these two only to watch Guzman get hurt three weeks into the season.
