what I expect, Rich Hill will strikeout 300 batters while winning the AL Cy Young Mike Wuertz leads the AL in saves Felix Pie and Ronny Cedeno lead the mariners to the AL west crown. Mark Derosa wins the AL MVP.
We already did that by depending on a injury prone pitchers like rich harden, Carlos Zambrano and Ted Lilly and trading for Kevin Gregg and Aaron Heilman. Meanwhile the Cards traded for the greatest SS ever.
I don't get this reference Hendrys Untouchables. Hes the last of his kind. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a30/Halman/Cubs/untouchables.jpg Shark got traded? Hopefully to the bears
Soriano 2B Bradley CF Manny RF Dunn LF Ramirez 3B Soto C Lee 1B Fukudome SS (he was drafted there so you know he can play it at a major league level) Pitcher
No such thing. Unless you want your backup catcher to be a Matt LeCroy or Michael Barrett type defensive catcher. Catchers that can hit a little and be good fielders are starters. Hence that's why guys like Brian Schneider make 5-6 mill a year.
Kneejerk negativism. Right Listen dopey this team will be lucky to win 50 games. Only people like Al Yellon think this team is good. Adam Dunn would make this team great but without him this season is already over
what makes you say that? Is it because he was a top prospect back in 2003? All Chris Burke has shown is he can constantly put up mediocre BA's for a guy who doesn't hit for power. I'm no fan of miles by any stretch of the imagination but Chris Burke is a white Freddie Bynum.
