    That and and I was very skeptical of his abilities. I think most people wanted him so they could put FUKUDOME on a Cubs Jersey. I don't think most people even knew that he was injured the season before coming to the Cubs. That or the other big FA outfielder was Aaron "I've only had two good years" Rowand.

    133 wins as a cub, played roughly 40% of his career as a cub, won a cy young as a cub. and a inner circle hall of famer (Granted his peak wasn't with the cubs) I see no reason not to honor him with fergie.

    Yeah, I don't see how Ichiro hits 220 this year in the majors from what I've seen in the world baseball classic vs. pitchers he's either never seen in his life or hasn't seen in years.

    Not with the Cubs he wasn't. in 04 he was extreme home/road splits. Therefore he sucked. Just like Milton Bradley who sucks.

    Ryan Dempster that remains to be seen but it could definitely end up that way. at least he was legitmately good last season, So was Estaban Loaiza with the white sox in 2003. Then the rest of the time he's been legitmately terrible

    unless he puts up his career numbers. then he'll be like the 4th or 5th best hitter on the team. Wrong, Lord, his dreaded road OPS last year would've made him the cubs second best hitter last year.
