  1. Hahahaha wow. There's no opt-out, per Heyman.
  2. He reminds me of that superfat Chinese kid that's always on the internets.
  3. He's 27 years old. Of course it is not the smartest thing, but with the DH he's going to be great for at the very least 6 of those years. I'll take the under. For $214M. To be fair, he could do even 7 great-solid years if he followed Mo Vaughn's trajectory. His last worthwhile year was 34. Granted, he does have quite a bit of weight on Vaughn.
  4. He's 27 years old. Of course it is not the smartest thing, but with the DH he's going to be great for at the very least 6 of those years. Unfortunately for the Tigers, there is only one DH spot.

  6. I guess it really is just the Cubs and Marlins now.
  7. I love that ESPN still doesn't have a single thing on this up.
  8. Wow I thought the Tigers were smarter than that.
  9. Still think that's better than giving away prospects, Kyle?
  10. Tigers nearing 9 year deal for Prince via MLBTR. I say they'd be better off trading for Garza.
  11. Because at least this approach will defer the inevitable pain for a few months. Pretty much. I might try to blindfold myself until camp.
  12. While I'm inevitably going to be disappointed, I'm definitely going to withhold any and all judgment until after the offseason.
  13. [expletive]. Per rotoworld:
  14. That's stunning that Ross didn't make it to a second interview. Maybe he bailed once he realized the amount of stupid they had going on there.
  15. Thankfully, by fully expecting that to happen, it becomes a little less disappointing.
  16. Count me in the Ross camp.
  17. It really doesn't take much to get 1,800 followers on Twitter, does it. I wonder if he's some strange performance artist or something.
  18. I see Swaim slammed his face onto his keyboard again...
  19. Huh. Guess I didn't realize he was considered so highly.
  20. Concepcion is indeed officially an MLB Free Agent: http://calltothepen.com/2012/01/19/gerardo-concepcion-declared-mlb-free-agent/
