Cincy got nothing out of Harris. At the time of the trade, Cincy was giving up the three best players in the deal, and nobody has done anything to dissuade that perception aside from Harris, who's in Minnesota. Three best players? The Nationals couldn't give Lopez away, and does anybody know where Ryan Wagner is? Again, it was a trade that worked out for nobody. The Nationals traded one of their best relievers (Majewski) and two pitching prospects (Bray, Thompson) as well as there starting SS (Clayton) and backup IF (Harris) and got Austin Kearns (who has been awful this year) and trash in return. The Reds traded their starting SS (Lopez) and RF (Kearns) and flamed out prospect (Wagner) for two pitching prospects (Bray, Thompson), Harris, and trash in return. If the Reds had held onto Harris, it wouldn't look nearly as bad. Again, the trade was awful for both teams. It could get better for the Reds if Bray and Thompson work out. To call it one of the worst trades of all time is beyond stupid. Krivsky also got Phillips, Keppinger, Arroyo, Burton for notihng and turned a rule 5 pick into Edinson Volquez, so it all evened out.
