The only pitchers he had left was Harang, Volquez, and Cueto. I don't blame him for using Harang, but the problem I have with it is pitching him 3 days later. Should have called somebody up and skipped his start. I thought he didn't even need to call somebody up, I thought they had an offday sprinkled in there(and maybe a recent callup), where he could've just moved everybody up and kept everyone on normal rest. That's all from the top of my head though. They had an off day the day after the game, but we used ever single player on the roster in that game except for Cueto. Arroyo didn't pitch, he pinch ran for Griffey. The day after the DFA'd Hatteberg and called Bruce up while Corey Patterson was still on the roster. They could have just has easily called up a pitcher and DFA'd Patterson as well, pushing everybody back. He could have given Fogg a spot start (he pitched 2/3rds of an inning), or you could have sent Matt Belisle to AAA (had a 7.28 ERA at the time and was eventually set down) and called up somebody to plug in. Dusty did none of it. Cueto started on normal rest, then he threw Arroyo on 3 days rest, Harang on 3 days rest, and Volquez went on normal rest finally putting the rotation back in order. So instead of calling somebody up and having Arroyo and Harang go on normal rest (ideally Harang would have been going on more than normal rest) he decided to keep everything as is and pitch Harang on 3 days rest.
