    Ever notice I wasn't even talking about Murton, my argument is about Theriot because he should be the starting SS, not cedeno. Yes, you brought in theriot to prove how worthless cedeno is, but you started it by mentioning how there's a perfectly good RF wasting away in Iowa. :D

    That's what made me so mad...not to get political, but its almost like listening to Ann Coulter moderate a presidental debate...I'm sure its fine if you're republican but as a dem you'd want to stab yourself in the ear.... it just seemed they went out of their way at EVERY opportunity to try and make Z look bad.... That's a great analogy. I thought the same thing about them dishing it out on Zambrano. It's like they are trying their hardest to make Z some huge villain or something. It was kinda nice when around the 5th inning or so, my FOX blacked out and it switched to radio on the TV. Also... how about Buck's pathetic Smithers impressions he kept doing last night!?

    Why? Serious why or sarcastic why? They wouldn't trade him to a team they are about to play and have him turn around and hurt them right away would they? In the division no less? I mean, I know its happened before and probably will again, and I know Krivsky isn't bright, but it just doesn't ring true to me. It would be incredibly stupid to hold up a trade for that reason. It would also be incredibly stupid to trade a player if you don't have to yet, i.e the deadline isn't till after the series. But excuse me for suggesting it, just seemed a bit off to me. That's a valid thought, but you also have to look at it from the prospective that Cincy might want to get their new players asap and not just beat around the bush with it. They won't be getting NEW players, they'll be getting players we don't want hopefully--Jones, Eyre, etc. They won't just give away Dunn... and even if they do accept jones and eyre, they would at least have to believe they could help the team some how and would want them soon.

    Apparently a deal to the Angels involving Ervin Santana fell through... not sure how true it is, but i saw it on cnnsi.com.

    I actually saw Dunn at Lambert (apparently for a connecting flight to Chicago... don't know why they needed a connecting flight though) and I asked him why he wasn't in Cincinnati and he punched me in the face.

    I would hate to lose Gallagher because his dad seems pretty cool and I wouldn't want to lose him too. It's kinda like the girl I dated in high school... it was tough breaking up with her, even though she was psycho, because her dad was cool.

    I ALWAYS happen to sit near that guy whenever I go to busch! It doesn't matter who the Cardinals are playing (I can't pass up free tickets... and then I almost always root for whomever St. Louis is playing), and it doesn't matter where I am sitting. The guy with the big "professional" signs is there in front of me. Thanks buddy... I can't see the flipping game because your 'oh so original' "CUBS: Completely Useless By September" sign is blocking my view.

    Ok, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who could tell he was being sarcastic. It seems like no matter what Barry says, everybody takes it as negatively as possible, without including any context or anything else about the press conference. I watched his post game conference and I thought he was actually pretty funny and not being a jerk for once.

    last nights game wouldn't have been on ESPN except for the fact that Barry was supposed to start. I bet they were ticked when they found out he wasn't starting.

    Your friend should've looked at the tickets first. I've used scalpers a lot, and never had any problems. I've also never purchased tickets in the middle of game, that seems like a waste of money to me. Those same tickets I paid $40 for were going for $100+ each earlier...
